Your Home Office Guru

1. Overview

At Your Home Office Guru, we want you to love your workspace essentials. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy explains how returns, refunds and replacements work for orders fulfilled through our supplier network via AutoDS.


2. Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging

  • A return request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery

  • The item must not be a non‑returnable product (see Section 6)

Because we work with multiple suppliers, each return is subject to the supplier’s approval.


3. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, we will replace or refund it at no cost to you.

You must notify us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or video showing the damage/defect

  • Photos of the packaging (if applicable)

Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund.


4. Change‑of‑Mind Returns

Some suppliers accept change‑of‑mind returns, while others do not. If accepted, the customer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs

  • Ensuring the item is returned in original, unused condition

Refunds for change‑of‑mind returns are issued once the supplier confirms receipt and inspection.


5. Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Email us at support@yourhomeofficeguru.com

  2. Include your order number and reason for return

  3. Attach photos/videos if the item is damaged or incorrect

  4. Wait for our team to provide the supplier’s return instructions

Do not return items to the address on the parcel. Suppliers have specific return warehouses, and sending items elsewhere may void the return.


6. Non‑Returnable Items

Due to supplier restrictions, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Used or opened items

  • Customised or personalised products

  • Clearance or final‑sale items

  • Items marked as non‑returnable on the product page

  • Hygienic items (e.g., certain desk accessories, mats, or ergonomic supports)


7. Refunds

Once a return is approved and processed by the supplier, refunds are issued to your original payment method.

Refund timelines:

  • Supplier processing: 3–7 business days

  • Bank/Payment provider processing: 3–10 business days

Shipping fees are non‑refundable unless the item was damaged, defective or incorrect.


8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after the stated timeframe:

  1. Check your bank account

  2. Contact your payment provider

  3. Email us at support@yourhomeofficeguru.com

We will assist in tracking the refund status.


9. Order Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase. After this window, the order may already be processed by the supplier and cannot be cancelled.

If the order has shipped, it will fall under the standard returns process.
